Fred Segal loves us!
If you live in L.A then you most definitely have heard of the ever popular boutique Fred Segal. If you don't live in L.A you may have read about Fred Segal. If you have never heard about Fred Segal or read about Fred Segal, it is an amazing boutique carrying the hottest in fashion and beauty. We at Prtty Peaushun are THRILLED to be sold in their beauty boutique! Check out what the staff has to say about Prtty Peaushun, it's pretty awesome!!

This week, our store manager Elena Severin says she's in love with a product that makes your skin photoshoot-worthy within seconds. It's called Prtty Peaushun Skin Tight Body Lotion ($36) and she says, "It gives your legs and body a hint of color and shine without the hassle of a self tanner. Plus, it has green tea, rosemary and arnica to help with veins, bruising and water retention. Our customers love the way it smells and how it helps fake a bikini-ready body!"
Since it started selling at our store in April 2012, it's been a hit with customers. One fan has already purchased it twice and says it's the only thing she wears with dresses and shorts because it's like "an outdoor workout in a bottle" since it helps tighten skin and evens out the color.
Look for it online or stop by NewBeauty at Fred Segal to find out more. It's a great way to get perfect skin in a hurry and garner lots of compliments too. "I had it on this weekend and three people complimented me on how great my skin looked," says Severin. No wonder stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Cate Blanchett swear by it too.

Vancouver Loves Us!!
It's that time of year again, are you legs ready to be flaunted? Here are 5 easy steps to great gams according to the Vancouver Sun. We certainly agree!
Read more: http://www.vancouversun.com/life/fashion-beauty/Five+steps+nice+legs/6691471/story.html#ixzz1wHtRtrCR
With another stretch of grey and gloomy days ahead keeping legs and feet under wraps, it’s tempting to let grooming slide. But here in B.C. we can’t afford to waste a day of sunshine. Follow our five-step guide, and you too can be ready to slip into shorts and sandals the minute the clouds part, with skin that’s soft, smooth and (seemingly) sun-kissed.
1. NAIL IT
Taking time out for a pedicure is one of life’s finest luxuries, and if you think we’re exaggerating, you ought to either (a) try one again, or (b) get them more regularly. The newest polish technology makes hard, thick gel nails a thing of the past (thankfully): OPI GelColor is a new salon-only service that lasts up to three weeks. Available in 42 shades (including OPI classics such as Lincoln Park After Dark), each coat of gel is flash-cured under UV light for just 30 seconds. Nail aficionados can get a similar, at-home starter gel kit by Quo by ORLY ($40, excluding the necessary $80 LED lamp), or, if you’re more of a traditionalist, stick to regular polish. The Thakoon for NARS Cosmetics is the season’s best collection of brights, but if $21 for lacquer is out of your budget, the new formaldehyde- and toluene-free Gosh OMG! Collection at Shoppers Drug Mart includes 20 miniature bottles in poppy shades for only $4 a pop.
• Thakoon for NARS group of 5 polishes
(pictured), $21 each, at Holt Renfrew, Sephora, The Bay, or www.narscosmetics.ca
• Quo by ORLY Gel Starter Kit, $40 at Shoppers Drug Mart
• Oh My Gosh! nail lacquer in Apple Green, $4 at Shoppers Drug Mart
• Oh My Gosh! nail lacquer in Orange Splash, $4 at Shoppers Drug Mart
2. DE-FUZZ
Shave it, wax it, epilate it or laser it: one way or another, you will want to lose the leg hair before stepping out sans tights. Try Evolution of Smooth shave cream, a non-foaming formula launching next month that’s so moisturizing — it has oat, shea butter, aloe, and Vitamins E and C: the works—that you can do the shaving deed wet or dry.
• BIC Soleil Savvy shaver, from $6 at drugstores, www.bicworld.com
• Evolution of Smooth shave cream,
$5 at major drugstores (pictured)
3. SMOOTHE
A necessary step for anyone who plans to partake in Step 5 — exfoliate and buff your winter-roughened skin to a smooth finish. Pay special attention to knees and ankles, and give rough patches on your feet the thrice-over with a pumice or (gently now!) a metal file. Finish off with a scrub: try a new formula such as the Sunless Tan Exfoliator by Baléa Glow or Rodial’s Brazilian Tan Body Scrub, or support local enterprise by dipping into Be Smooth Body Scrub, a sugar scrub containing almond oil, blood orange, lavender and vanilla, by Vancouver spa Spruce Bodylab.
• Sephora Collection Deluxe Pedicure Kit, $30 at Sephora stores or
www.sephora.ca
• Sephora Collection Pedicurve, $16 at Sephora stores or www.sephora.ca
• Be Smooth Body Scrub, $23 at Spruce Bodylab (pictured), 1128 Richards St., 604-683-3220 or www.sprucebodylab.com
• Rodial Brazilian Tan Body Scrub, $45 at Murale (at Oakridge Centre, 604-264-8035) or www.murale.ca
4. MOISTURIZE
Keep your tootsies soft well past your tune-up by rubbing a good foot cream all over and concentrating on heels, balls of your feet and big toe with an extra-hydrating product such as Butter London’s Stiletto Stick (which has a high urea content and macadamia nut oil). Use a silky, thick moisturizer over the rest of legs, or skip to Step 5.
• Butter London Kitten Heels Powder Finish foot cream, $33 at Beautymark (1268 Pacific Blvd., 604-642-2294) or www.beautymark.ca
• Butter London Stiletto Stick Hydrating Balm, (pictured), $36 at Beautymark (1268 Pacific Blvd., 604-642-2294) or www.beautymark.ca
• Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion, $16 at The Body Shop or www.thebodyshop.ca
• Clarins Eau des Jardins Derivatives Smoothing body cream, $49 at department stores.
5. TAN IT
Tanning beds are so noughties — these days, it’s all about faking it. Clarins’ Delicious Self-Tanning Cream (a heavenly chocolate-smelling number) is still one of the company’s bestsellers, while The Body Shop’s Honey Bronze collection, including its Shimmering Dry Oil, is available year-round. If subtle isn’t your thing, try St. Tropez, the mother of all self-tanning brands, has released its first gel formula, while Baléa Glow Sunless Tan comes in a lotion, a clear gel (better for fairer skin), and even a tinted “gelée” (for medium to dark skin). Scott Barnes Body Bling or Prtty Peaushun by Bethany Karlyn helps conceal stretch marks, varicose veins, and even bruising while natural plant extracts tighten and firm.
• Soleil Identité de Chanel in Bronze, $44 at all Chanel beauty counters.
• St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Gel, (pictured, below) $44 at Sephora stores or www.sephora.ca
• Baléa Glow Sunless Tan Body Lotion, $7.50, exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart
• Baléa Glow Sunless Tan Gelée, $9, exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart
• Prtty Peaushun, $36 at Kiss & Makeup (at the Village at Park Royal, 604-922-6292) or www.kissandmakeup.ca

“In my summer makeup bag, I have:
Prtty Peaushun – Best body lotion ever. It gives a subtle glow while plant extracts lift, firm and tighten. What else could you want? I love the medium color, and on big event nights, I mix a little body foundation in with it to give a little extra flawless coverage.
Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection SPF 40 – An everyday summer essential! Oil-free while still blocking UVA and UVB rays. Wear it alone or under makeup. I even keep one in my car for when the roof is down.
Courture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment- To banish my frizzy hair at the beach. Get unbeatable shine and keep your color. You can use this oil on wet or dry hair. I even use a little extra on my dry lips.
Clinique Age Defense BB Cream – My latest obsession. Similar to a tinted moisturizer, but optics instantly help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and it has an SPF of 30! You can wear it under foundation, but I wear it alone with a little bronzer over the top for summer.
Hourglass Superficial Waterproof Bronzer – A great natural bronze color and its oil-free and waterproof!! Crazy. Swim, sweat or dance your heart out and you’ll still be bronzed.
YSL Creme de Blush in #5 Fuchsia Temptation- I love this hot pink color. A great pop of color on nicely bronzed summer skin. This velvety soft blush gives a luminous radiant finish while looking fresh and healthy. I apply it with a soft blush brush in a circular motion on the apples of my cheeks.
Hourglass Extreme Sheen Lipgloss in Nectar – A high shine formula with just the right amount of color. Keeps my lips moist without feathering. My favorite color is Nectar, its the prefect summer coral.
St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse – For when you can’t get to the beach, but need to look like you have!! St.Tropez is by-far my favorite self-tanning product. The color is golden (not orange) and it gives the most even, smooth tan. The spray is great (a super fine 360 spray), but I prefer the mousse. Tip: Buy the St. Tropez self tanning mit to apply the mousse for the ultimate even tan without the look of dirty palms
Lancome Hypnose Waterproof Mascara – Who doesn’t want great looking lashes while at the beach? This formula is amazing! Long, full lashes and it never flakes or smudges
Clinique After Sun Rescue Balm – Its happened to all of us: Over exposure. When you come home a little too red, I reach for this after sun balm. It’s ultra moisturizing yet oil free and the aloe helps calm sun-exposed skin. You can use it on your face. I keep mine in the refrigerator for the ultimate chill down.
Clarins Extra-Firming Lip & Contour Gentle Exfoliator – For when your lips have had a little too much sun and become chapped and scaly. The sugar based exfoliator gently removes dead skin cells and plumps lips to look healthy and supple and immediately softens and nourishes them. It’s a must before rockin’ a matte lip and it’s a great product all year round.”

(PRTTY Peashun Skin Tight Body
Lotion, $36)
Created by a celebrity makeup artist Bethany Karlyn for celebrities, models, dancers, singers, swingers, musicians, athletes, actors, wannabes, the young and the young at heart.
Celebrity fans who love PRTTY Peaushun: Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Anna Kendrick, Vivica Fox, Natasha Bedingfield, Sade, Macy Gray, Rihanna, Marisa Tomei, Pink, Leona Lewis, Pamela Anderson, Tracy Anderson, Monica, Brooklyn Decker, Selena Gomez, Lea Michelle, Taylor Swift, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Tilda Swinton, Nicole Richie, Emma Watson, Sarah Hyland, Debi Mazar...
This product comes in five different shades and I decided to go with light for a review for the company. Super excited to look luminous, I applied it all over and noticed immedietly how it made my skin glow with its subtle light reflecting particles in an emollient base. I like how the formula is natural and doesn't contain any toxic ingredients. And the packaging is great, dispensing the perfect amount of product without harboring bacteria.
I love how it enhanced muscle tone when basically I have none to begin with! It just creates this even skin tone the same way foundation does for the face. I'm so glad I discovered PRTTY Peaushun by Bethany, now you guys can too!
Enter to win your own bottle in the shade you choose (plain, light, medium, dark, deep dark).
