DRY TIME
Underestimate the
time it takes for your nails to dry? Fill up a bowl with ice water and dip your
nails in. careful not to bump your tips against the cubes, they’ll dent. After
a few minutes, take them out and shake them until they’re dry. For extra
protection, give them a spritz of quick dry, available in beauty supplies. No
quick dry handy? A great substitute is a cooking oil spray, like Pam.
THE PAIN WITH STAINS
Nails yellowing from
nail polish? Look for topcoats with CAB
(cellulose acetate butyrate). To remove stains, soak nails in juice of 1 lemon
diluted into 1 cup of water. Or dip sponge into white vinegar and rub. Or use
teeth whitening strips! They work!
