For a bold brow look, use a powder eyebrow product like Laura Mercier's Brow Powder Duo (This powder is great to keep brows looking natural,) or a matte eyeshadow in the shade closest to your eyebrows. A powder will be softer looking than a pencil when going bold.
Using a small hard angle brush, flick off any excess shadow from the brush and start by drawing in the upper arch and then the lower arch to block in the shoe of the brow. keep the outer part of the brow as upward as possible to keep the eye open and the expression happy.
Then fill in the brow with light sketchy strokes in the direction that the hairs grow. To further soften the look, lay a single ply of tissue over the brow and powder through with a powder brush and loose powder. To soften more, powder directly over the brow. Us a spooled brush to finish and get the hairs in place.
Wild eyebrow hairs - you can use an eyebrow grooming gel like Mac's Brow Set (which I love because it's not flaky, shiny or crispy, gives a nice sheen and holds without being stiff.) Or, for a lighter more natural hod, spray your spooled with a blast of hairspray and comb through your brows to hold in place all day and into the night.
Some inspiration!
