Actually, there’s one more beauty secret in Lynne’s arsenal: Prtty Peaushun Skintight Body Lotion, which hydrates Louise’s beautifully fit bare arms and legs and provides a natural-looking bronze gleam. (It’s similar to Scott Barnes’ cult hit Body Bling, with less shimmer.) “It’s from the Windsor Arms spa, it’s $40, and it’s worth every penny,” says Lynne. “All the people who come in my room, all the girls who work with the judges are like, where do I buy that? — and Louise loves the feel of it when she crosses her legs.”
” The “Over the Rainbow” finale airs tonight on the CBC, but you can catch all the episodes online via cbc.ca.

Celeb Love: Toni Trucks!

Toni Trucks is a rising star and lucky for us, she LOVES Prtty Peaushun!  Make sure to catch her in the just released indie film Ruby Sparks and the new TV series Made in Jersey.   The Diva Gals Daily recently caught up with Toni and asked her about her favorite beauty products.

2012 TCA Summer Press Tour - CBS Photo Call

While we’ll definitely be taking notes on Janet Montgomery‘s colorful wardrobe on the new series Made in Jersey, premiering on CBS this fall, we’re getting Celebrity Beauty Secrets from her co-star Toni Trucks.
At CBS’ Summer Press Tour, Toni revealed all her top tips for looking absolutely stunning, from head to toe. Check it out!

HAIR: I’ve been using Joico shampoo and conditioners, which are great for colored hair,” says Toni, who gets her hair colored by celebrity colorist Jennifer J. Toni also uses a little bit of Aveda oils and L’Oreal leave-in conditioners to add sheen and shine. “Sometimes I let my hair air dry and go curly and the conditioner doesn’t weigh it down,” she shares. “I have really baby, fine hair and I need products that are light.”
FACE: “I use Proactiv,” declares Toni. “I love having any face care where you do this in the morning and this at night; a routine is good.” She also loves “my Clarisonic. I can not live without it!” Toni use Koh Gen Do makeup base, available at Sephora, which is “pretty wonderful.”
SKIN. “My new absolute favorite is Prtty Peaushun.” The body lotion, which adds sheen to the skin, “covers any imperfection and comes in shades from light to deep dark,” Toni reveals. “It’s hot in summer, and you don’t want to be wearing nylons. I’ve already told Janet I’m getting her some!” I’m sure a Jersey girl will appreciate!
Made in Jersey premieres Friday Sept. 28.

Celeb Love: Molly Sims

Molly Sims wrote this lovely piece about Prtty Peaushun in her Supermodel Secrets feature of her blog!  Thanks so much Molly, we appreciate the love!

When you’re a supermodel on set, every makeup artist you work with has their own special concoction for making your body look camera-ready. It’s usually a combination of at least seven different products (lotions, oils, pigments, bronzers, etc.), and the formula is top secret. Makeup artist Bethany Karlyn’s secret formula is the best in the biz—any model or actress who’s ever used it will tell you the same! So after years of being hounded by her clients (me included!) to package it, Bethany created Prtty Peaushun.

Prtty Peaushun is more than a body lotion. It gives the skin a gorgeous, flattering glow, conceals minor imperfections, and is infused with natural plant extracts to lift, firm and tighten the skin. In a word, I am OB-sessed. Plus, it comes in amazing squeezable package and it’s only $36 for 8 oz.—not too bad for a miracle worker.

Celeb Love: Elizabeth Banks

Makeup Artists are some of our biggest fans and believe it when I say the feeling is mutual!  Here Makeup Artist extraordinaire Fiona Stiles wrote in her blog how she made up the gorgeous Elizabeth Banks for her latest movie premiere.  Yes, Prtty Peaushun is on that list, she looks amazing.   Click here to read her blog and see how she achieves these amazing looks!   And make sure to check out "Man On A Ledge"

http://www.fionastilesmakeup.com/

For the Man on a Ledge Premiere, Elizabeth wore a stunning gold paillette dress from Pucci with really sexy Christian Louboutin gold shoes, so we used lots of bronzes on the eyes and warmed her skin to a sun kissed golden color.  The bronzes made the blue of her eyes just pop.  And I love the warm rosy nude lip color because it keeps the look from feeling washed out, but it doesn't take away from the eyes.  I applied the foundation as I always do, using a synthetic brush and a Beauty Blender.  After it was set I dusted a little bronzer at her hairline and on her cheekbones to give that beachy glow.  For the eyes I took a deep brown liner and smudged it into the lashes top and bottom, and into the waterline.  Then I blended the color and brushed on a deep bronze shadow over it.  A little black liner on the top lash line defined the eyes and make the lashes look thicker.  And so did a few coats of black mascara. You know I love my mascara!

Celeb Love: Tea Leoni

Look who uses Prtty Peaushun!  We are so thrilled, Tea Leoni is an absolute stunner, check out this interview in the NY Times T Magazine Blog!

Face Time | Téa Leoni

Photograph and makeup by Tina Turnbow. Hair by Laurent D.
They say laughter is the best medicine, and after a few days of working with Téa Leoni I was feeling pretty healthy. She was doing press and the premiere for her new movie, “Tower Heist,” opening Nov. 4. She plays a special agent in the movie, which also stars Alan Alda, Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy. I believe her glowing beauty is due, in part, to her honesty, humor and refreshing approach to life. And some products even I had never heard of!
T.T.: You have a sun-kissed glow. What is your sun secret?
T.L.: Aqua Tan self-tanning products and latex gloves! To spice up the glow and moisturize my body, I use Prtty Peaushun Skin Tight Body Lotion. It’s all natural, with 92 percent raw ingredients. It conceals minor imperfections and has arnica in it. For my face I like Jane Iredale Purepressed Base Mineral Foundation in Golden Glow.
T.T.: Do you feel your approach to and appreciation of cosmetics have changed over time?
T.L.: Yes! I’ve always taken a simple approach with my makeup. But about five years ago, I started getting more into it. I started to feel more washed out as I got older. I appreciate how much makeup helps to define my brows and lashes now. And how cheek stains and bronzer give my face more color.
T.T.: What are your everyday makeup essentials?
T.L.: To plump up my lashes I like Maybelline XXL Pro Volume Mascara. I do a little liner on the upper lash line using Sonia Kashuk’s Eye Definer in Iced Coffee. She also has some great cream eye shadows. I define my brows with L’Oréal Paris Brow Stylistpencils. For my cheeks and lips I like Tint Hint by Laura Geller and O-Glow by Smashbox. I like lip products that taste good, something with all-natural ingredients, like Josie Maran’s Argan Lip Treatment. To top it off, I don’t go anywhere without a spritz of my favorite Le Labo fragrance- usually Neroli 36.
T.T.: Whose beauty do you admire and relate to most?
T.L.: I’d have to say Lauren Hutton. I admire her natural simplicity. A flick of mascara, a gap-revealing smile … and done. She is comfortable as is, with what is.
T.T.: Do you have any personal style rules you could share?
T.L.: I like a bit of irony in my style. Modern, vintage, real and fake. I like items with sentimental value. Day to day, I wear Rag & Bone jeans and cowboy boots. My favorite color is every hue of blue. But, you should never wear head-to-toe anything.
T.T.: How do you stay so fit?
T.L.: I just keep moving! I walk a lot. My kids, Miller and West, keep me pretty active, too.
T.T.: Do you keep a close eye on your health?
T.L.: I try. When I’m not treating my body well, it holds up a sign to let me know. I’m really into raw kale salads right now, with cranberries and walnuts. I make this Asian orange dressing that is out of this world.
T.T.: Let’s talk about your lovely hair. You have been working with the hairdresser Laurent D for 25 years. How did you two meet?
T.L.: I moved from New York City to L.A. to work on “Charlie’s Angels” around 1978. The lead hairdresser for the show was José Eber. He introduced me to Laurent D, and we’ve worked together ever since. I use his Privé hair care products. I hate to brush my hair, it gets too fluffy, so I especially like his Finishing Texture Spray. The Privé Concept Vert shampoo and conditioner are great, and 100 percent green. I go to Dawn in the Privé salon in L.A. for my color. They have a full spa there, with head-to-toe beauty treatments, even Botox.

Tracy's Take on Cellulite

Celebrity Fitness Trainer Tracy Anderson and her Take on Cellulite: What Really Works....

Skin tone is one of the biggest issues that we as women face. Poor skin tone can negatively affect the self-confidence of any woman – no matter how beautiful. After all, cellulite is what makes us want the lights off in front of our partners; and what drives us to wear Spanx and sarongs over bathing suits in 90 degree weather.

For the fortunate few, cellulite can only be seen when the skin is pinched or while sitting at an unflattering angle. However, for many women, uneven skin tone is often difficult to hide and can be found in the most unexpected places.

The truth is that we don't have to accept cellulite and loose skin as a fact of life. We can get rid of it – and at any age! I have eliminated cellulite on countless clients from all walks of life through hard work, dedication, and an understanding that there is not a miracle pill, cream, or treatment.

Before you can begin to tackle your skin tone issues, you must accept that living an inactive lifestyle is the largest contributor to cellulite. If you are thinking to yourself, “Yeah right! I exercise daily and I still have cellulite!”, then you need a crash course in understanding how the body produces uneven skin tone. We all have fibrous cords that connect our skin and muscles. When we gain weight our fat cells are pushed against these cords. This forces our skin to dimple and our fat to bulge out. As we age, it only gets worse because our skin naturally becomes less elastic.

While your genetics and daily stress can also play a role in causing cellulite, learning to use your muscles properly and performing cardiovascular work to your fullest extent are the keys to eliminating skin tone irregularities, organically. If you are a Tracy Anderson client (either at home or in the studio) you know that my method reengineers your muscular structure through the constant flow of new workout sequences, prescribed specifically for you. These unique sequences are based on targeting the accessory muscles (the small muscle groups). Strengthening the accessory muscles while burning fat through intense cardiovascular work helps to create a tight knit group of small muscles that actually pull in the larger muscle groups and even out your skin tone.

If you follow my program you can achieve a cellulite-free body. However, do not fool yourself into believing that once you have reached your goal you can slack off. Be assured that if you don’t keep up with this program, you will lose your hard earned results. On a personal note, I live happily and consistently in a six-pound weight zone. If I start to creep up to the top of it, I notice little cellulite issues. However, if I am at my average or lower weight, I see not one imperfection.

Now to the fun part!

While exercise is critical to achieving beautiful skin, we should not forget that there are some genius beauty products available to help our skin glow and to feel extra soft and sexy. Four years ago, I was introduced to Bethany Karlyn, one of the best make-up artists in the world. During our first photo shoot together Bethany brought a home-made skin potion to the set in a Tupperware tube. After applying this mystery cream just once, I absolutely refused to ever be photographed or filmed without it!
Since that day I have pleaded with Bethany to manufacture this product; not just for the millions of women in the world who desire beautiful skin, but also so that I can glow every day. Why did I only get to look this good in photos?

Four years later Bethany has launched her Prrty Peaushun skin line, and I am screaming from the rooftops that it is the best beauty lotion you will ever find! Prrty Peaushun is that rare beauty product that makes you look supple and luminous without overdoing it. Bethany’s line offers three different shades of the perfecting cream, in addition to a plain shade for everyday use. She has infused it with properties that ease muscle soreness - because I know you would never think of not working out - as well as, the true skin tone stimulators that promote exfoliation and appearance.

As an extra treat for my online community, Bethany and I made a fun mess in my kitchen whipping up an amazing shower scrub to be used at home before applying your Prrty Peaushun. Check back tomorrow for the recipe!
