lovely little obsession + giveaway
I first heard about the magic lotion, Prtty Peaushun on the beauty blogs I follow and was instantly intrigued. I mean how can you not be when you see names like Rihanna, Lea Michele, Paula Patton, Molly Sims, Pink, Gwyneth Paltrow, and so many more are using it? Every time you see a celebrity all dolled up on the red carpet how do they get that glow and sparkle? Even the fair skinned celebs have this amazing dewy, sun-kissed, glow about them, and it was like I had finally been let in on the secret, and it didn't cost an arm or a leg!
Bethany Karlyn is the celebrity make-up artist who created Prtty Peaushun for her clients and once I got her email and started learning even more about it I was quickly becoming anxious to try out such an AMAZING product. Bethany had this to say about some of the basics of Prtty Peaushun and it's secrets...
"To give you a bit of background, Prtty Peaushun is fabulous for women of all shades, all shapes, and all ages. The visual effect of PP is lengthening and slimming and it creates a subtle glow... think glimmer, not glitter. Imperfections are diffused and uneven tones are softened."
"Hand crafted organic plant extracts lift, tighten, and firm the skin giving a lightly pulled in feeling and helps diminish the appearance of cellulite, stretch marks, and varicose veins, as well as minimizing bruising and sore muscles. The formula is natural with 92% raw ingredients and fragrance free. Grapefruit gives it a light citrus scent."
"My secret to a flawless face, I start every day with Prtty Peaushun. If you don't normally wear foundation, wear PP alone for flawless skin. For a touch more coverage, add a drop of your favorite liquid foundation to a drop of PP and blend to create a glorious tinted moisturizer. For more coverage, apply foundation over PP. The glow peeks through giving a gorgeous dewy "lit from within" effect."
Once I received my very own Prtty Peaushun to try I was immediately hooked. It was like liquid gold pouring into my hand and it smelled amazing Just the right amount of a clean scent, nothing heavy. The thing I loved most about it was that it had the most incredible way of making you glow without glitter. I wouldn't even say there was shimmer, it just glowed. I showed my mom and she instantly became addicted. Especially at her age it did wonders for her legs and arms, evening out her sun spots and hiding fine lines. She already ordered the next shade up then what I had. I tried out her shade "dark" and it looked great on me too. It gave me more of a sun tanned glow vs. the natural glow the "medium" gave me. Both are awesome and I honestly think this does as good of a job as a spray tan does, which I adore. I also used it on days I didn't feel like putting full foundation on, as a nice tint and it really gave my complexion that extra "umph". The possibilities of this are endless!
Other fun Facts:
♥Hairdressers all over Hollywood are using PP in the hair to tame frizz and infuse a subtle glow.
(I tried this and LOVED IT, all day people kept saying, "your hair is so beautiful", "your hair looks like silk" ... seriously LOVE!)
♥Prtty Peaushun is vegan and is approved by PETA and Green America.
♥The packaging is "anti-packaging", designed to take up minimal space in landfill. Exceptionally lightweight without secondary packaging helps to leave as light a carbon footprint as possible.
