Ok, this is seriously the most exciting thing of 2012 for me! I’ve partnered with the cult beauty destination b-glowing to completely makeover your beauty cabinet for 2013 with 20 OF THE BEST CULT PRODUCTS valued at $966!  Yes, this is real life.

I felt really lucky to discover b-glowing.com, the online beauty boutique for emerging brands, proven staples and lifelong favorites. I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a long time, but never found a place that carried everything I loved under one (digital) roof!
I can’t possibly cover my Top 20 in one post, so over the next few weeks you can read my reviews on the individual products, with a link back here to enter to win the whole $900+ box!
I’ll start with today with the skincare items (for the complete list of everything in the box, see below) ->
                 image
Eve Lom Cleanser ($80) is more than skincare, it’s a true cult beauty ritual. Apply this balm, rich in Egyptian chamomile, hops, clove and eucalyptus oils and cocoa butter, following the extremely detailed steps, and find your skin deeply cleansed, soft, and smooth, and your mind similarly refreshed {trust}. Remove it with the 100% muslin cloth and wonder why you ever touched a wash cloth to your face. There’s a reason this tops cult beauty lists time and time again.
                 image
RMS Beauty Raw Coconut Cream ($18) is my favorite product from this ultra-minimalist organic line by makeup artist Rose-Marie Smith.  This certified organic, raw, unrefined, virgin coconut oil is the ultimate multi-use cleanser, moisturizer, lip balm and eye makeup remover.  It’s also anti-microbial, so I highly recommend it for combination dry + acne-prone skin.  Don’t be afraid of the oil!  Pros (like my recent interviewee, makeup artist Tamah Krinsky) swear by raw coconut cream - and what could be better for travel than all this in one jar?
                 image
By Terry Or de Rose Huile Absolute ($124) cannot be done justice by my average photography.  If you don’t gasp when you try this, you maybe have no soul?  It’s a dry oil packed with rose and actual 24 karat rose gold apologies to your watch. I apply it before makeup - it leaves skin dewy but not greasy, and imparts the most subtle, lit-from-within shimmer. Luxury in a bottle.

Peter Thomas Roth Sulfur Cooling Masque ($40) is my favorite bad skin day week month lifetime treatment.  Sulfur is probably my favorite acne buster and antibacterial buddy, and I love that this masque balances strong, clinical and cool like some kind of dream dermatologist boyfriend.
                 image
Skyn Iceland Nordic Skin Peel ($45) is a great at-home alpha/beta treatment to reveal new skin.  Use it on the regular and save yourself a zillion dollars on dermatologist peels … it does virtually the same thing, only more slowly and gently. Think of it like Oxy pads for your fancy, grown-up, sensible self.

Sara Happ Limited Edition Blood Orange Lip Scrub ($24) is the cult not-so-secret on everyone’s lips - lit’rally. Another wonderful ritual that you’ll come to swear by, especially during winter when your lips would otherwise look, honestly, exactly like prunes with lipstick on them.  It really works way better than Vaseline on a toothbrush.
You can win everything above, plus the following (I’ll review these over the coming weeks) …
For your MAKEUP BAG > Robin Olio Lusso Lip Balm ($30) | Butter London Lips & Tips in Yummy Mummy ($25) | Ellis Faas Eye Lights in Antique Silver ($42) | Talika Heated Eyelash Curler ($37) | Paul & Joe Color Powder Blush in Les Tortereaux ($30) |

For your HAIR > Philip B. Russian Amber Shampoo ($140) | Mason Pearson Pocket Boar Bristle Hair Brush ($90) | Serge Normant Meta Lush Volumizer ($23)

For your BODY > Joa Goe Oil ($36) | Kai Body Buffer ($40) | Prtty Peaushun Skin Tight Body Lotion in the shade of your choice ($36) | Anthony Logistics The Cool Fix ($25)
